We Stand with Asian Women and Celebrate Their Stories

Elevate Asian voices and listen to what they have to say every day and in their stories

“If you go through life, at least in the U.S., as an Asian-American woman, you become really hyper aware of how people are perceiving you even before they may even say something to you,” says author Celeste Ng. As the force behind , Celeste’s work touches on some of the traumas faced by Asian women—racism and violence that has escalated over the past year.

Yesterday, a gunman killed eight people, six of whom were Asian women, at massage parlors in the Atlanta area. These attacks are horrendous and inexcusable. Today we stand with Asian-Americans and pause to elevate the Asian voices within our community—shining lights that inspire us and introduce us to experiences beyond our own.
