Audiobooks have been a game-changer for our book-lover-in-chief to reach her reading goals.

Listen up! We’ve got big reading goals this year and we’re going to let you in on a secret. One of our favorite ways to tackle our TBR (to-be-read) piles is to pop in our headphones and hit play on an audiobook. The best thing about devouring your favorite stories this way is all the ways you can multitask. From taking a leisurely walk with your dog to folding laundry and washing dishes, imagine doing it all while listening to the most delicious story unfold. And when you discover a narrator you love? Trust us, you won’t be able to get them out of your head.

As if our June Pick isn’t enough reason to celebrate the start of summer, June is also officially Audiobook Month—and we’re kicking it off with an Audiobook Challenge with our friends at Apple Books. Starting this month, we will be shining a light on why we love and appreciate audiobooks because spoiler alert: audiobooks are real books and they are also a pleasure to listen to. It’s a fantastic way to discover new stories and experience old favorites in a different format.
